The MotoGP calendar is set to stick at eighteen rounds in 2012 with Spain and Italy still fielding six of those dates. There is an April start compared to March and the season extends to the second weekend of November as a result. The most surprising news is the absence of the Sachsenring. The short and twisty course offered one of the most novel and trickiest tracks…Nurburgring anyone?
