The KTM/HMC Factory racing team is a product of the Austrian’s renewed and reorganized approach to North America and the off-road element is going extremely well in 2012 with maiden Supercross victories and both Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen looking strong in the AMA Pro Nationals. Dungey in fact is in ‘pole position’ as points leader to deliver the company with their first title in the premier class with a third of the series completed.
Asphalt riders Chris Fillmore (pictured) and Stefan Nebel are currently steering the 1190 RC8 R through the first campaign in AMA Superbike and the former is faring well with 10th place in the standings and a highest race finish of 5th at the Infineon Raceway in California.
The next event is at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama will bring the twelve round series to the halfway point.
