After the Logger and the Breast Cancer Awareness limited edition offerings Scott have been busy again with their Prospect goggle; one of the most popular and best-performing pieces of moto eyewear on the market. The first of the 2019 designs will be shown at the traditional ‘military appreciation’ Supercross at Petco Park in San Diego this weekend as well as the Hawkstone Park International in the UK where a number of Scott’s MXGP athletes will be wearing the new colours.
San Diego and the ‘military night’ (perhaps a little unusual for international audiences to grasp the full sentiment) has been a routine opportunity for teams and brands to get handy with their customisation skills. Scott have taken the Prospect and dodged any ‘camo’ temptation for a more fetching red, white and blue combo that works generically and is not solely tied to the San Diego showdown and round six of the SX series.
“This SCOTT Prospect MX Goggle features a custom red/white and blue strap and includes an electric blue chrome AFC lens plus a micro-fiber baggie. It comes with an additional clear AFC lens included,” the company state in their PR.
Rather than a Limited Edition model, this SX Military Appreciation eyewear should form part of the 2019 portfolio and has been deemed ‘early release’. It is available from February 9th. The price is set at 99 euros.
The Prospect is famed for its lens lock system, wide field of vision, extra secure and wide goggle strap and SCOTT TruView single WORKS lens with No-Fog Anti-Fog lens treatment.
